Build A Thousand Miles Of Walls Across Africa And Europe To Keep Out Six Million Waiting Migrants, Demands Independent MEP Janice Atkinson
Denounces “Dangerous Myth” That Migrant Tide Is Receding
For Immediate Release 4 July 2018
The EU must build ‘a thousand of miles of walls’ across Northern Africa and on Europe’s frontiers to halt the tide of more than six million migrants who are queueing up in Africa waiting to get into Europe, says populist independent MEP Janice Atkinson.
Proposing some of the most radical policies put forward by a British politician, Janice says the BBC and mainstream Left-wing media throughout the UK and Europe is encouraged by “NGO people-smugglers” to peddle the “dangerous and disingenuous’ myth that migration numbers are falling.
Such propaganda, she says, is employed to put a sticking plaster over the political wounds inflicted on Angela Merkel and the EU by the ongoing immigrant crisis which, along with Brexit, is threatening to tear the EU apart.
Janice says: “In an attempt to paper over the EU cracks and counter the sweeping advances of populist parties in Italy, Austria, France and Germany, the Left wing media is creating the dangerous and disingenuous narrative that migration numbers are dwindling.
“This is not true – it is a myth deliberately propagated by the tax-payer funded people smugglers of the NGO’s who are working directly against the governments and peoples of Europe.
“The truth is that there are around 6.6m people in countries in and around the Mediterranean all waiting for their opportunity to get into Europe, by whatever means. They are aided and encouraged by the human rights industry through unaccountable NGOs.
“The only answer now is to build walls on the southern borders of North Africa and on Europe’s frontiers. And the EU must build European visa/asylum centres within these walls in Africa.
“If it that means a thousand miles of walls, or even more, then so be it. At the same time the nation states of Europe must increase naval patrol facilities in the Mediterranean and work with neighbouring countries to ensure their borders are secure.
“A programme of mass information must be clearly conveyed to Africa making clear that there are no jobs, houses, welfare or healthcare. In short, if you are thinking of trying to get into Europe – then think again.
“If you are in a conflict zone, stay and fight like our forefathers did for us, do not leave your women to fare for themselves in the hope that you may make it to Europe and eventually gain entry for them. That option is no longer available. Europe is closed.
“The people of Europe are saying no to mass migration and the high unemployment levels it brings. Our infrastructures can no longer cope and our culture, safety and way of life is being undermined by alien cultures and practices.
“For too long European voters have had to watch the EU’s temporary and wholly inadequate fix of closing a few politically sensitive borders when it’s too late.
“The EU’s answer of throwing billions of our money at despots in Turkey and Africa, along through our own bloated foreign fund and EU one into which the UK pays also pays is not going to solve the problem.
“Instead it simply increases the off-shore bank accounts and jewellery vaults of the rulers of the African states, leaving their own people to flood into our countries in search of the better life that our aid is supposed to provide for them at home.”
